Ruth is born and raised in Dallas, Texas. She is a wife and a mother of two toddlers. She is actively involved in her home church serving as a community group leader. Ruth has worked with college students, as a campus staff worker with Intervarsity Christian Fellowship, processing through depression, sexual abuse, anxiety, and career guidance.

Ruth currently works with adults and adolescents dealing with trauma, suicidal ideation, anxiety, and depression using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Narrative Therapy. She also works with teens and parents and helps them navigate healthy emotional regulation and communication. Ruth’s passion is to meet with people where they are in their lives, hear their stories, and walk alongside them as they find healing, hope, and growth. Counseling is a place where you truly face the raw reality of where you are. It takes courage and strength to come to a place of vulnerability in the counseling room, but those who are willing to be there find new strength in their story.
