Candice Newman, MABC received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Texas Tech University, where she graduated Cum Laude and did research under the direction of distinguished professor Dr. Catherine Epkins. She received her Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with Honors.

Candice has extensive experience working with Severe Clinical Disorders (Mood, Dissociative, Anxiety, Personality, & Psychotic), Postpartum Depression & Anxiety, Pregnancy & Infertility Issues, Infant & Child Loss, Adolescent & Young Adult Issues, Geriatric Issues, and Trauma in hospital, rehabilitation, and private practice settings. She has been practicing at The Vale since 2006 and is active on most insurance panels.

Candice is married to her high school sweetheart and has four children. She enjoys her church, spending time with her family and friends, singing, reading, and playing and watching soccer.
